Milestone Group, the leaders of Oversight and Backup NAV technology for the fund management industry, today announced that Janus Henderson Investors has extended its global deployment of the pControl Oversight solution. The relationship, which previously spanned Europe and Asia, has now been extended to include North America.
Following the merger of Janus Capital and Henderson Global Investors, the firm needed a solution that provided consistent, global control across multiple third-party administrators. While many administrators now offer solutions to access NAV data this can prove a challenge to firms wishing to work towards an independent or global oversight framework.

While regulators are expecting firms to evidence oversight of outsourced relationships more than ever, firms like Janus Henderson Investors recognise the importance of demonstrating oversight best practice to clients and fund boards as well.
